  1. Well done for finding ten books with animals both in the title and on the cover! I’ve read a few of these – Magpie Murders, To Kill a Mockingbird, Cat Among the Pigeons and The Raven’s Head – but didn’t include any of them on my own list.

  2. I like your choices, Margaret! Cat Among the Pigeons is such an interesting look at a girls school, and I love the character of Julia Upjohn. And I did like Magpie Murders. That ‘story within a story’ concept can work really well.

  3. I will have to check out The Guest Cat! Seems like a book Elza will read. Cat amongst the pigeons is a really good Agatha Christie!
