Yesterday’s Papers by Martin Edwards is one of my TBRs.

This is the fourth Harry Devlin book, although I haven’t read any of the earlier books, so plenty to look forward to. I’ve read all of Martin Edwards’ Lake District books and loved them.

  2. I hope you’ll enjoy this, Margaret. I really like the Lake District novels; and, although I haven’t read all of the Harry Devlins, I like the ones I’ve read. Edwards is a skilled writer as well as as skilled editor.

  4. Like you, I haven’t read any of the Harry Devlin books, somehow they’ve never taken my fancy, so I’m going to be very interested to see how you get on with this one. Maybe you’ll encourage me to take the plunge.

  6. This sounds good. I haven’t read any by this author, but I’ll look for them. I’m also reading a mystery re-investigating a 30-year old murder. It’s called The Life We Bury by Allen Eskins.

    1. Sorry Cath, I should have said the Harry Devin books are an earlier series, first one was published in 1991. There are 8 books in the series now.

  14. I haven’t read this author before, I’m afraid, but I’m always up for a good mystery. From that opening, I am wondering who he killed and why. I hope you enjoy this one! Have a great week.
