Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. For the rules see her blog.
The topic today is Most Recent Additions to My Bookshelf.

- Jane’s Fame: How Jane Austen Conquered the World by Clare Harman, story of Jane Austen’s life, but also her literary legacy. This was a Christmas present
- Loose Head: Confessions of an (un)professional rugby player by Joe Marler,
- The Christmas Guest by Peter Swanson, country house murder mystery.
- Exiles by Jane Harper, the final Aaron Falk mystery, following on from The Dry and Force of Nature, both of which I loved.
- Tea & Alchemy by Sharon Lynn Fisher, historical fantasy that could be outside my comfort zone.

- A Glass Of Blessings by Babara Pym, a Virago Modern Classics.
- Grief Is the Thing with Feathers by Max Porter, a novella.
- Marble Hall Murders by Anthony Horowitz, the third book in his Magpie Murders series.
- Homeward Bound: The joy of nature and my life outdoors by Hamza Yassin, short nonfiction.
- Death of an Expert Witness by P D James, book 6 in the Adam Dalgliesh series.
Thanks for sharing your #TTT, enjoy your new books!

I’ll get to Exiles at some point so I can complete my reading of the Falk series.
I can’t do this topic having constrained my book-buying so much I don’t have 10 books to list!

You’ve got a nice list here, Margaret! I hope you’ll enjoy Death of an Expert Witness; I thought it was well-written and gave an interesting look at the way a lab works. And I’ve liked the Horowitz I’ve read. Oh, and Peter Swanson and Jane Harper, too! I think you’re going to have a good reading experience – I hope you will!

I’ve only read one Barbara Pym book (Excellent Women) but I loved it, and I vow to read more. Enjoy! Happy New Year, Margaret!

The Christmas Guest looks like a great change from the traditional holiday romances.

I recently got Tea & Alchemy by Sharon Lynn Fisher in ebook format. I have come to see that I really enjoy a good historical fantasy. I think The Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden was the first historical fantasy I ever read and I loved it!

I am not a rugby fan, actually, I never watched it as I never really like ball team games.
Anyway, I wanted to say, I still love Joe Marler. He is funny and lovely.

I got an email from a business colleague this morning saying she was taking a few more days off to read jane austen because the holidays hadn’t been restful enough yet, haha. And was thinking about how Austen conquered the world. So your gift book looks intriguing! Hope you write a bit about it once read. Cheers. (My post-xmas ttt here)
