Last Saturday I posted a photo of the little Japanese Maple still bearing its flame red leaves. We’ve had some high winds this week and this is what it looks like today – what a difference a week makes!
Just a few leaves are still clinging to its branches:
The rest are on the ground or have blown away.

Maples are lovely aren’t they?
We’ve had the same problem but with spring blossoms this week – the rain & wind have finally blown off all the jacaranda flowers and the bougainvillea’s also took a battering this week.

yes, so much difference one wind can make.. we have the same with the trees outside our house.. i had been planning to take a photo before and after..
