Great photos!!! [ewwwww….but I noticed the book….my hubby is reading about FDR…is this a good book?]
My wordless is posted. There is a direct link at the top of my blog post that will take you to my wordless photo if you’d like to skip the test I provided above it. Happy Wednesday.
Will, no problem – this is not a clothes moth, the caterpillars eat leaves.
AudreyRose – this is a live moth – or it was yesterday. It disappeared, so I think it flew away.
Mog, I think it’s so beautiful.
Hootin Anni I think it’s a good book – it’s mainly about Britain from 1900 – 1952 and of course does include chapters on the relationship with America. The front cover shows both FDR and Churchill.
Just beautiful! I imagine a silk cape with very fluffy feathers at the collar to go to the Oscars. Maybe not in this era though but maybe the one after the Victorian’s. This moth is very stylish for sure.
Dude!!! What is that!! It looks like a bug with a furry winter jacket on. I’m not very bug literate (that makes no sense whatsoever but I hope you get what I mean) This looks scary to me. Like an undercover “I’m going to eat my way into your brain” type of bug. Fooling you with the nice, white, colors. Eek!
Beautiful! I hope it does not like sweaters!
Happy WW!

That is the most regal-looking, “ermine-wearing” moth I’ve ever seen. Thanks for sharing these photos!

I’ve not seen one that looks like this either. Uniquely beautiful.
