What’s In a Name? 2019

This year the What’s In A Name reading challenge is being hosted by Andrea at The Carolina Book Nook.

The challenge extends from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019.  You can sign up any time, but only count books that you read between those dates.

Read a book in any format (hard copy, ebook, audio) with a title that fits in each category.

Don’t use the same book for more than one category.

Creativity for matching the categories is not only allowed, it’s encouraged!

You can choose your books as you go or make a list ahead of time.

Here are the categories listing the books I already own (so they will also qualify for the  Mount TBR 2019  too):

  1. These challenges really are interesting, Margaret. And I like your choices for this year’s edition. It’s a great encouragement to tap one’s TBR, too.

  2. I always enjoy reading your posts about this challenge–such fun to match up books with categories. You can always go with Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle-Stop Cafe, which I reread a few years ago and fell in love with all over again!

Girl seems to be in every other title these days–a wealth of choices

  3. 14 books containing the word girl/woman – that tells us something about the way Gone Girl set a trend…. Good luck with this challenge. I would find it really hard

  4. Good luck with this challenge this year, Margaret. I am also taking part again and, like you, I have books for every category but one: I haven’t got anything with a month or day in the title. Happy reading!
