My review begins:
I enjoyed Elly Griffiths’ first DS Harbinder Kaur book, The Stranger Diaries, so I was keen to read the second book, The Postscript Murders. It’s very different, in a much lighter style and I think Elly Griffiths was enjoying herself writing this poking fun at crime fiction writers and the book world, with book bloggers and a literary festival. I really enjoyed it. It’s very readable, cleverly plotted, with interesting and well defined characters

I like the idea of looking back over old reviews, Margaret. I think it gives us an interesting perspective on our reading. And in this case, I’m glad you enjoyed <i>The Postscript Murders</i>. Elly Griffiths is really talented, and so prolific! I always feel I can’t go far wrong with one of her books.

I read one book by Elly Griffiths several years ago. It was OK but in a crowded marketplace it didn’t stand out so I never tried her again. i know she has a big fan club so it must be just me, not her
