DeanStreetDecember is hosted by Liz @ Adventures in reading, running and working from home. Dean Street Press is a publisher devoted to republishing lost gems of vintage literature, from Golden Age Detective novels to middlebrow novels by twentieth century women writers. Read from DSP, review the book(s) you’ve read and link them up on the post on Liz’s blog.
These are the Dean Street Press books I have on my Kindle ready to read – I’m aiming to read at least some of these:

- Arrest the Bishop? by Winifred Peck
- The Draycott Murder Mystery by Molly Thynne
- Evenfield by Rachel Ferguson
- A Harp in Lowndes Square by Rachel Ferguson
- A House on the Rhine by Francis Faviell
- The Other Side of the Moon: David Niven by Sheridon Morley
- The Red Lacquer Case by Patricia Wentworth
- Thalia by Francis Faviell
- There’s a Reason for Everything by E.R. Punshon
- Who Pays the Piper? by Patricia Wentworth
Dean Street is responsible for re-printing some very fine crime novels, Margaret, and they don’t have an easy job of it in these publishing times. Glad to see them featured here.

What a lovely selection to choose from and you’ve reminded me I’m almost certain I’ve got Evenfield knocking around on the Kindle somewhere!

I’m halfway through The Red Lacquer Case at the moment and enjoying it and I also have some of those other books on my list of possibilities for Dean Street December. I’m not sure how many I’ll have time to read, though!

I thought I’d left a comment here but maybe not. A lovely selection to choose from and reminded me I have Evenfield somewhere on my Kindle. I hope you enjoy whatever you read.

For some unknown reason Liz, your first comment went into the Spam, sorry about that! Books get buried in my Kindle quite often – I hope you’ll be able to find your copy of Evenfield soon.
