Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. For the rules see her blog.
The topic this week is Completed Series I Wish Had More Books, but I’m tweaking it a bit as I have lots of series on the go that I haven’t finished. So this is my list of Series I’m Still Reading:

- Dr Ruth Galloway Mysteries by Elly Griffiths – 14 books have been published, with the 15th due out next year. I have read 8 of them.
- Tom Wilde books by Rory Clements – 6 books. I have read 4 of them.
- Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley – 7 books have been published with the 8th due out next year. I have read 3 of them.
- Kingsbridge by Ken Follett – 4 books. I’ve read 1.
- Dublin Murder Squad by Tana French – 6 books. I’ve read 1.
- Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin – 5 books. I’ve read 3.
- Rachel Savernake Golden Age Mysteries by Martin Edwards – 3 books, with another due out next year. I’ve read 2.
- Harry Devlin by Martin Edwards – 7 books. I’ve read 1.
- Daisy Dalrymple by Carola Dunn – 23 books. I’ve read 4.
- Sea Detective by Mark Douglas-Home – 4 books. I’ve read 3.
Thr Dublin Murder Squad is fantastic – and definitely made it to my list this week!
These are the series that I wish we could get more of!

I have one more of the series in my TBR – it’s just a case of too many books I want to read!

I must get back to the Sea Detective books, not sure if I’ve read two or three now. And my daughter keeps recommending the Seven Sisters book, I must try them.

I enjoyed the Sea Detective books, I’d love to read more. The Seven Sisters books are long, which means I keep leaving them on my shelves and reading shorter books instead.

I’m so glad to see Mark Douglas-Home on your list, Margaret. I think he’s very talented, and doesn’t get the notice he should. And Tana French is such a skilled writer; she’s done some fantastic work. With so many good books out there, it’s hard to stay with a series, but you’ve chosen some excellent ones.

As you say with so many good books out there, it’s hard to stay with a series. I’ve read them as I come across them, but sometimes I forget about them, especially if they are e-books and not visible on my shelves of physical books!

I agree – I just wish they weren’t so long!

I have so many series I need to catch up on! I have a bad habit of reading the first book when it’s released, and then by the time the sequel is out I completely forget the plot and put off reading it. I’ve started slowly working through some of the old series I started recently.

There are so many series these days – it’s easy to lose track, so I know what it’s like. I’ve got 3 on this list that I started and haven’t got round to reading any of the other books in the series.

I’ve read all of some of these. I’ve completed the Carola Dunn, Elly Griffiths, Rory Clements and Mark Edwards. I’ve read the first Kingsbridge by Ken Follett but it didn’t really hold my interest. I read the first book in the Seven Sisters series and really enjoyed it but somehow I never got around to reading the rest of them.

You’ve read so many! I am in awe. :)

A lot of them I’ve read as they have been released so it’s easy rather than catching up. I do love finding a new series that I can binge read though.

I have seen The Dublin Murder series on other lists. I want to give it a go at some point!
Have a great week!

I keep meaning to read more of The Dublin Squad Murders. I hope you’ll enjoy them if you do read them.

I love this topic since I have a lot more book series I’m reading than ones I’ve completed! Ha ha. I also really like the Ruth Galloway series, although I’ve read fewer of the books than you have. The Dublin Murder Squad series is one I’m actually caught up with since French doesn’t publish as often as a lot of other authors. I wish she would! I love her books.
Happy TTT!

I’ve read a couple of Tana French’s stand-alone books and enjoyed those too.

I’ve not read any of these, but glad you’ve enjoyed them so far and I hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the series.

Most of these are new to me–I’ll need to investigate them more, but maybe one or two will be on my next list? Thank you!
