  1. I love masks – there is one looking down on me from the wall as a type – but even for me this is mind blowing. Too long since I’ve been in that lovely gallery. I must do something about it.

  2. I live near Glasgow so I have seen it in person. You probably won’t be at all surprised to hear it’s even stranger to be standing underneath them, looking up. But it actually feels benign and exhilarating. They float like ballons and lend Kelvingrove a party atmosphere.

    Look closely and you’ll see the faces have many different expressions. My favourites are the laughing ones which remind me of a laughing Buddha.

  3. I think this is one of the strangest exhibitions I’ve seen. We were at the Art Gallery with our grandson to see the Dr Who Exhibition and this was a bonus – the museum and gallery are well worth a visit. We also went to the Museum of Transport.
