Loved your choices – I read the same books, at similar ages (although I was still at school when I read Lord of the Rings). I haven’t read this particular Karen Armstrong, but I will look for it.

Margaret – Oh, those are great choices and answers. I’m especially glad you mentioned the Lord of the Rings series. I think those novels really were groundbreaking and honestly, I don’t use that term very often. And I have to admit – I like historical fiction too :-)
