I’m stepping back in time again this week for my Saturday Snapshot, but not quite as far back as last week. This is a photo of the two dogs we used to have, enjoying running for a stick in the Chiltern Hills, near our home at that time, in Great Kimble in Buckinghamshire. We were on the footpath below Pulpit Wood looking down on the old rifle range.
Zoe is the golden retriever, who always had to get the stick first with Ben, the border collie cross following on behind.
Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.

What a beautiful place for a walk!

Margaret – Such a lovely shot! They seem to be having so much fun, and I love the way dogs can run with abandon like that :-).

Hello, Margaret. I read your recent comment on Kay’s blog (about blogging/reading slumps) and popped over here to visit you. I used to follow your blog quite frequently and somewhere along the line your link disappeared from my “favorites”. I’ve added it back to that list so I can visit you as I used to. And… I have to agree with what you said to Kay about how things have changed over the years. I’m still trying to post a review of sorts about all the books I read, but my enthusiasm for some simply isn’t there. And, thus, I’m posted more photos! I love the one you’ve shared today. Your border collie looks so much like my Annie-Dog (who is a mixed breed of sorts…perhaps some border collie, aussie, german shepherd, etc.). Take a look here and see if you agree.
