Our back garden isn’t the usual type of garden as it’s mainly grass, a stream and woodland. At the end of January we had a tidying-up session in the woodland and a small fire burning small branches that the wind had blown down.
Further down the wood the snowdrops are still in flower.

What a lovely garden. The snowdrops are out down here too, I saw a lovely corner of a field that was full of them the other day.

The snowdrops are beautiful! We have a similar plant that tends to flower after heavy rains – rain lilies. The flowers are either yellow or white.

I saw some snowdrops out last week too, I’m hoping they won’t die when or if it gets cold again.

So pretty! I wonder if those are the same flowers I have in my yard, but though some are white, some of mine are yellow.

Ooh snow drops! It won’t be long and we’ll be seeing them along our driveway. They’re such sweet little flowers.

Gorgeous snowdrops! I do love the wooded look of your back yard area, too; that swing looks a little lonely in that first shot. That photo would make an intriguing book cover.
Thanks for sharing, and here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST

What a wonderful back garden area. I think I could sit in that swing for hours and lose myself! Very pretty photo of the snow drops.

We have snowdrops too, but not yet. We got a fresh snowfall again last evening. Kids can go out with toboggans again.
A wooded backyard would be neat.

Flowers! Still a little early for that here, but they bring so much cheer to a winter garden.

Our snowdrops have just opened. I’m so envious of your garden, I’ve always wanted a stream / burn in my garden.

I love the snowdrops! So pretty–and they remind of Lilies of the Valley, which are my favorite.

Those flowers are pretty, I do not recall ever seeing them before.
The fire looks hot enough to roast something in it. 🙂

Our garden is full of snowdrops which have self-seeded over the years. Lovely while in flower, although they look a bit untidy before the leaves have died off. I shouldn’t complain, just enjoy them on a lovely winter morning.

Lovely snowdrops! We also do some burning of branches and leaves in the spring and fall. Love your firepit.

What a lovely backyard! I miss living in the country. We had 3 acres with a large meadow and a stream surrounded by cottonwood trees. So beautiful…
Our snowdrops aren’t up yet. Maybe in another month.
